If you have a DOT testing program under Part 382, you're subject to the Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse rule. This means as of January 6, 2020, you are required to query the DOT's new Clearinghouse online database to identify CDL drivers who are prohibited from operating a commercial motor vehicle due to drug and alcohol violations. A query must be performed for each new driver hire, and annually for exisiting drivers. You are also required to report certain DOT alcohol and drug violations to the Clearinghouse database when they occur.
Drug and Alcohol Testing Program Management Services from J. J. Keller go beyond the alcohol or drug test to give you a deeper level of service and risk protection.
